I lead all client platforms (iOS, Android, Web) for Yahoo Mail. I'm currently driving AI/ML integration into the product—including on-device LLM-powered features, predictive user interfaces, and privacy-by-design practices—while mentoring a globally distributed engineering organization.
My career spans web development, product management, and engineering leadership across communication and productivity applications. I've shipped Yahoo Mail (Norrin, Postcard, YM6), Yahoo Messenger, Yahoo Together, and led core engineering at Grindr through its IPO. I hold 51 granted patents (30 pending, 39 defensive) with deep expertise in machine learning, security, and messaging systems. My AI foundations trace to USC's Teamcore Research Group, where I contributed to GUARDS (deployed by the TSA) and IRIS (used by Federal Air Marshals).
MS in Computer Science from USC (thesis: Game Theory and Human Behavior), BE from LNCT. I share the work with the broader community—recently speaking at Google Cloud Next 2026 on observability at scale, and presenting annually at CSUN Assistive Technologies since 2018. I serve as Head Judge for Technovation Girls World Summit (2020–2026) and judge the CES Innovation Awards. Beyond engineering, I write poetry—some archived in the USC Libraries Lewis Carroll Collection.
