Welcome to Mohit's Creations. This Privacy Policy applies to all applications and games at mohitgoenka.com, including Mohit's Letter, Bingo, Settlers, Covert, Faceoff, Trivio, Ascend, Spinner, Spello, and any other applications developed by Mohit Goenka (collectively referred to as "the Apps").

1. Information Collection

Most of our Apps are designed as utility tools that run locally on your device and do not collect personal data. However, certain Apps that integrate with third-party services (such as Gmail) require limited access to your data as described below.

2. Google User Data (Mohit's Letter)

Mohit's Letter (letter.mohitgoenka.com) connects to your Gmail account via Google OAuth 2.0 to provide email triage functionality. When you authorize the app, we access the following data:

  • Email Address: Your Gmail address is used to identify your connected account within the app.
  • Email Messages: We read your inbox messages (sender, subject, date, snippet, and body) to display them in the app's triage interface.
  • Send Emails: When you compose, reply to, or forward an email through the app, we send the message on your behalf via Gmail's API.
  • Read/Unread Status: We read message labels to display read/unread status accurately.

3. How Google User Data Is Used

Google user data accessed by Mohit's Letter is used solely to provide the app's core email triage and management functionality. Specifically:

  • To display your emails in the app's inbox and triage queue.
  • To send emails that you explicitly compose, reply to, or forward.
  • To display your email address as the connected account identifier.

Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, analytics, market research, or any purpose other than providing or improving the app's user-facing email features.

Google user data is not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, transfer, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties. This includes:

  • No sharing with advertisers or marketing platforms.
  • No sharing with data brokers or analytics providers.
  • No sharing with any other companies, organizations, or individuals.

The only exception is when required by law (e.g., in response to a valid legal process such as a court order or subpoena).

5. Data Storage and Protection

We implement the following measures to protect your data:

  • Encryption in Transit: All communication between your browser and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. All communication between our servers and Google's APIs uses HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Minimal Storage: Email content is cached temporarily in server memory for performance (typically for 2 minutes) and is not written to persistent storage. OAuth tokens (access tokens and refresh tokens) are stored on the server to maintain your session.
  • No Persistent Email Storage: We do not permanently store your email messages, attachments, or email body content on our servers or in any database.
  • Access Control: Your email data is only accessible to you through your authenticated session. No other users or administrators can view your data.
  • Token Security: OAuth credentials are stored server-side and are never exposed to the browser or any client-side code.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

You can disconnect your Gmail account from Mohit's Letter at any time using the disconnect button in the app. When you disconnect:

  • Your OAuth tokens are immediately deleted from our server.
  • All cached email data is immediately cleared.
  • No residual data remains on our systems.

You can also revoke access at any time via your Google Account permissions page.

7. Apps Without Google Data Access

All other Apps (Bingo, Settlers, Covert, Faceoff, Trivio, Ascend, Spinner, Spello, and others) do not collect any personal data. They run entirely in your browser, require no account or sign-in, and do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or other device features.

8. Children's Privacy

Our game Apps are intended for a general audience, including families and children. Because those Apps do not collect any personal information, they are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Mohit's Letter is intended for users aged 13 and older.

9. Third-Party Links

The Apps may contain links to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external websites.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
